Graffiti from Richmond Cottages, Ballybough built c. 1820’s. I took this whilst out on a walking tour of this area of Dublin. It is a very old neighbourhood drawing its name from ‘An Baile Bocht’, the poor town in Irish. The area has links with the Jewish community, musician Luke Kelly and Bram Stoker drew inspiration for his book Dracula from the area also.
